This breathtaking road started as an Indian route and became the supply route for one of the first reclamation projects in the U.S. Today, this system is comprised of four desert lakes, the largest being formed by Roosevelt Dam at the end of the trail. The full day tour takes you to the ancient ruins of the Tonto National Monument where visitors can see fingerprints left by the Salado Indians who inhabited the area over 700 years ago.

Hold on to your hat as we creep up and down Fish Creek hill for an unforgettable view of the Superstition Mountain Wilderness. Then on to colorful Tortilla Flat and the Goldfield Ghost Town where you'll get picture perfect glimpses into Arizona's rambunctious past. This part is featured in both our half day and full day excursions. Canyon Lake's Dolly Steamboat is available upon request for groups of 10 or more.

If confirmation is not immediate, an authorization is made with your card, then charged at the time of tour confirmation.
Charges may apply, if you change or cancel your booking.
Cancellations outside 48 hours prior to pick-up time will result in a $35 per person processing fee.
Deposits are non-refundable at any time on all tours except the bus and VIP tours.
For cancellations within 48 hours from pick-up, there will be no refund.
No-shows will be responsible for the entire cost of the tour.

My highlight of the tour was to see and feel snow for the 1st time (back home in Australia, snow is a non event). I couldn't have asked for a better way to see snow then at the Grand Canyon. I joined to get Williams at Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, got a train, and picked up at Grand Canyon. I miss the time, I was looking for the bus.
