Employment
Bus Drivers
Here are a few comments from our customers:
"We tried your Grand Canyon Tour for the day. It was very enjoyable, but our driver made it exceptional."
"[Our tour guide] was an excellent driver who was informative, friendly and chatty without being overly so. He made an extremely long journey bearable and we would recommend him for future trips."
"He did an excellent job, both in his safe driving, and his knowledge and good sense of humor on the tour. It is a long day, and he did his best to keep it interesting."
As you can see, the success of our tours completely depends on our bus drivers and tour guides. They are the best in Las Vegas. We need people who will uphold our high standard of providing quality tours, meaning those who work well with people and will take care of our customers.
Prior knowledge about the Grand Canyon and our other stops is helpful for this position, but what we are really looking for are people with a love of these areas. Once the tour begins, the bus driver is completely in control so it is up to him or her to make the tour enjoyable. Being a "people person" is essential in order to serve the guests and deal with conflicts.
Skill in multiple languages is preferred because we have many international tourists. There are openings both part-time and full-time.
This position is practically a vacation as you will get to experience some of the world's wonders along with the tourists. You will also be helping others create memories that they will never forget. What could be better?
Reservation Agents
We also have openings in our office for reservation agents, those who take tour reservations for our customers. Applicants should have basic computer skills, particularly a knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Skill in multiple languages is preferred, although not required, so we can attend to our international customers. The ability to multi task is essential.
Again, people skills are a must because our agents work on the phones to attend to people's questions, deal with conflict, and reserve the tours. Patience is another helpful trait for dealing with customers who have a concern with their tour. We need people who will be dedicated to giving our customers a great experience.
