Man per man and mile per mile Eldorado Canyon has a wider range of historical events than anywhere in the Wild West. This guided above ground tour will take you to the old Techatticup Millsite. This is where the ore was brought out of the mine and taken to the stampmill, crushed to a powder and mixed in cyanide tanks where the gold and silver were separated. Then proceed on a guided tour below ground into the Savage Mine some 500 feet below ground where you will view up and down slopes and actually see the veins they chased.
The air temperature in the mine is a cool comfortable 70 degrees year round. We will venture deep into this rumored haunted gold mine and visit 3 different shafts, one of which drops down to over 900 feet. Learn how the hardiest of men labored feverishly looking for GOLD! Chiseling their way through the mountainside inch by inch, with the most primitive of tools and working by candlelight.

This tour provides transportation to Techatticup Gold Mine which once was the largest producing Gold Mine in Southern Nevada.
Once at Eldorado Canyon take an ATV tour on trails originally traversed by mule driven ore carts through a mountainous terrain, around incredible cactus gardens and along the path miners of the 1800’s used to seek their fortunes. The view from the top of the mesa will allow you to see the Colorado River off in the distance. This port of the past was thriving while receiving supplies for this area and where the gold discovered in the mountains was exported.
The ATV tour riding time is approximately 2 hours long. Your guide will give you a Safety and Operations Orientation that will make you feel safe and comfortable on the ATV. While touring through the beautiful and historical area, the professional guides will lead you through this unique trail where you will wish the tour never ended.

If confirmation is not immediate, an authorization is made with your card, then charged at the time of tour confirmation.
Charges may apply, if you change or cancel your booking.
Cancellations outside 48 hours prior to pick-up time will result in a $35 per person processing fee.
Deposits are non-refundable at any time on all tours except the bus and VIP tours.
For cancellations within 48 hours from pick-up, there will be no refund.
No-shows will be responsible for the entire cost of the tour.
